Avionics Technician
**Job Title: Avionics Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electrical systems. You will also be responsible for preparing aircraft for flight tests and airworthiness certification. **Responsibilities** + Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electrical systems. + Prepare aircraft for flight tests and airworthiness certification. + Work on the flight line, in a repair station, and MRO environments. + Ensure proper navigation and communication systems function. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of avionics troubleshooting experience. + Minimum of 2 years of flight line or return to service experience. + Completion of at least 2 years of electrical avionics technical school with a certificate or equivalent military/vendor training. + At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and repairing aircraft electrical and avionics systems. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong understanding of avionics and electrical systems. + Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. **Why Work Here?** We offer candidates eligible for per diem. The shift options are Mon-Fri; 3:12pm-11:42pm OR 11:42pm-6:42am OR Fri-Sun; 6am-6pm OR Fri-Sun; 6pm-6am. The dress code is jeans, t-shirt, and tennis shoes. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $47.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
