Former military aviation MOS encouraged to apply._** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Avionics Technician to join our team. This position involves the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics systems in General Aviation aircraft. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of avionics systems, including Garmin, King, S-TEC autopilot systems, PSI Engineering intercom systems, Dynon, and Advanced Systems. **Responsibilities** + Install full system avionic systems, primarily Garmin, and also King, S-TEC autopilot systems, PSI Engineering intercom systems, Dynon, and Advanced Systems. + Build harnesses for all avionic systems from Garmin, King, S-TEC autopilot Dynon, and intercom systems. + Remove outdated avionic systems and integrate current aviation systems into aircraft. + Perform VFR and IFR tests. **Essential Skills** + Experience in avionics installation and troubleshooting. + Proficiency in wiring layouts and bench repair. + Knowledge of airframe electrical systems and installation. + 2+ years of avionics system installation experience. + Experience with Garmin systems is highly preferred. **Why Work Here?** Located in Aurora, Oregon, just south of Portland, this position offers the opportunity to live in or around Portland or other nearby areas such as Wilsonville, Canby, McMinnville, and Salem.
