TalentWorld is recruiting a Avionics Technician Apprentice in Richmond, British Columbia for one of our clients.
Responsibilities Test, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate avionics equipment within timeframes. Provide technical support to the crew. Operate avionics test equipment (e.g., air data, navigation, autopilot systems). Perform aircraft maintenance and modifications under supervision. Complete and sign off on work documentation. Report unserviceable equipment and defects to senior technicians. Attend training courses as assigned. Maintain a clean, safe work environment. Support company values and mission. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Enrolled in or completed a Transport Canada approved AME program. Working towards "E" license. No specific experience required, but strong teamwork and technical skills. Familiarity with avionics systems (e.g., navigation, autopilot). Basic knowledge of avionics test equipment. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational abilities. Employment Details Salary: Starting at $20.75 hourly. Benefits: Permanent full-time role with benefits including health coverage, paid time off, work-life balance, and career growth opportunities Schedule: Must be available for both morning and afternoon shifts, with flexibility required from Monday to Friday.
