Avionics Technician II

GENERAL DESCRIPTION\n\nTyonek Services Group is providing full on-site \/ off-site maintenance flight\/Functional Check Flight operations to support the US Army Flight Test Directorate AFTD at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The support will be conducted in accordance with current Army directives, including but not limited to, AR 95-1 and AR 95-20.\nAreas for support to be provided include completion of all maintenance test flights on AFTD aircraft, fault isolation and troubleshooting, and management of internal contractor pilot and non-rated crewmember flight records.\n\n

DUTIES\n\nDiagnose, troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in the UH-60-OH-6\/AH-64A\/D\/E-CH-47 armament, electrical and avionics systems and components including solid state and transistorized subsystems according to pertinent technical manuals, directives and safety procedures.\nPerform maintenance, authorized modifications and alignment on aircraft weapons components, fire control units, sighting elements, electronic, and mechanical devices.\nOther duties as assigned\n\n

EDUCATION\/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\n\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent is required \nMust have completed an Army aircraft armament maintainers course.\nAt least 6 years of experience maintaining Army UH-60-OH-6\/AH-64A\/D\/E-CH-47 weapon systems. \nMust be a U.S. Citizen \nMust have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
