As an Avionics Technician II, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for basic installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components, and maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals.

Must-haves:

High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experienceA higher-level degree may substitute for experienceRelated experience may be considered in lieu of required educationAbility to understand applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publicationsAbility to route wires per technical drawings  Basic understanding of troubleshooting techniquesBasic skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, and wiring installationExperience with soldering and crimping techniques

Preferred:

Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROLBasic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope. and/or pitot static equipmentBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required
