As an Avionics Technician II, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for basic installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components, and maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals.

Qualifications You Must Have:

High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experienceA higher-level degree may substitute for experienceRelated experience may be considered in lieu of required educationAbility to understand applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and/or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings  Basic skills with avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, and wiring installationExperience with soldering and crimping techniquesCurrent/valid passport and be able to obtain a Visa to travel international.Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations.Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations.Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays, and shift schedules as required.An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROLBasic understanding of spectrometer, oscilloscope. and/or pitot static equipmentBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required
