**Job Title: Avionics Technician - Moses Lake, WA** **Job Description** + As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for installing wiring and electronic systems related to C-Checks and VIP modifications of 787-9 aircraft. + This role also involves working on a military VIP large jet due for C-check. + Your tasks will include basic wiring buildups, preparing and installing wiring kits, running wires, terminating, crimping, checking connectors, and testing with multimeters and voltmeters. + You will be part of a team performing large and complex VIP modifications of 787 aircraft, which involve significant rewiring and reconfiguration. **Responsibilities** + Perform basic buildup and preparation of wiring and cables from modification kits and drawings (~10% of the time). + Route and install wires and cabling on aircraft, including documenting, tagging, labeling, crimping, terminating, and testing (90% of the time). **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of experience in avionics installation and repair. + Experience in wiring, crimping, terminating, and installing electrical systems. + Knowledge of aircraft maintenance, particularly with 787, 767, and 777 models. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in VIP modifications, custom interiors, or completions environments is preferred. + Local candidates are highly preferred to ensure long-term employment. + Military experience is acceptable. + Eligibility for a SIDA badge with proper identification. + Possession of own tools. **Why Work Here?** + We offer competitive pay in a low cost-of-living area, providing great financial benefits. + Join a supportive team in a recently renovated facility where you can grow your skills and advance your career. **Work Environment** + You will work in recently renovated hangars and offices. + The facility includes large hangar spaces with two aircraft, storerooms, and inventory areas. + The work hours are from 0600 to 1430, often extending to 1630, Monday through Friday. + Expect to work 50 hours per week or more, with occasional opportunities for overtime on weekends. **Job Type & Location** + This is a Contract position based out of Moses Lake, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
