Avionics Technician-No License Requirement
**Job Title: Avionics Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Avionics Technicians to support a large Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility. This position involves working at a major service center to manage increased business demands and maintenance lines. The role includes performing maintenance on Bombardier's CRJ 200, 400, 700, and 900 series aircraft. **Responsibilities** + Adhere to General Work Requirements and FAA regulations. + Perform maintenance on customer aircraft according to technical data and regulations. + Conduct inspections, make adjustments and repairs, replace components, and correct malfunctions. + Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations. + Document work performed per relevant manuals, including Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM) and Structural Repair Manual (SR). + Access and re-install aircraft components obstructing assigned tasks. + Work in shops as well as on aircraft. + Assist with repairs on off-aircraft components, including flight controls and gear components. + Perform complex repairs at on-site and off-site locations. + Assist in performing Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) runs for system operations and troubleshooting. **Essential Skills** + Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting aircraft blueprints, diagrams, and manuals. + Basic understanding of aircraft avionics and systems. + Proficiency in using a variety of basic and precision measuring devices. + Skill in using basic hand tools and operating ground support equipment. + Ability to troubleshoot aircraft systems and repair discrepancies. + Ability to apply sealing compounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Airframe or A&P Certificate preferred but not required + 3+ years of experience in avionics wire harness fabrications, installation, and modification (heavy maintenance). **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and fast-paced environment that supports major regional airlines. The facility operates 24/7 with 'southern swing shifts': 4 days on (12-hour shifts) followed by 3 days off, then 3 days on followed by 4 days off. Shifts run from 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
