**Immediately Hiring - Avionics Technician - Worksite at Edwards AFB** **Apply Now OR Email your Resume to Tyler Williams** tylewilliams @ (tylewilliams@aerotek.com) **aerotek.com** **Job Title: Avionics Technician** **Must have 4 years Military OR 7 years Commercial Experience** **Responsibilities** + Modify, install, test, repair - aircraft avionics and ground support equipment. + High level knowledge of electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, wire diagrams, to build prototype electronic assemblies. + Utilize multi-meter, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, frequency meter, and logic probe for tasks like checkout, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair. + Fabricate cables harnesses, populate electronic assemblies, solder, crimp, and perform wire terminations to interface equipment to sensors, data acquisition units, and test equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and integrated circuits to the component level. + Perform hands-on electrical, instrumentation, and avionics maintenance on aircraft. **Essential Skills** + Expert-level troubleshooting and soldering capabilities. + At least 4 years of hands-on experience. + Ability to qualify for and maintain a Security Clearance. + U.S. Citizenship is required. + **_Flight Line experience is a huge plus._** **Why Work Here?** Enjoy long-term work on familiar aircraft for military candidates, facilitating an easy transition from military to civilian life. They will hire directly.
