Avionics Test Engineer

Summary:
Seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer with experience in mechanical interface design, troubleshooting, and reverse engineering for multi-rack and optical automated test equipment in an optical manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements:

US citizen or Green Card holder STEM degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience Experience in mechanical test equipment design within an optical manufacturing environment Proficiency in SolidWorks, NX Designer, AutoCAD, or similar design tools Experience with 3D printing Ability to analyze and specify tolerances in precision component assemblies Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including mechanical, electrical, software, and system engineers

Job Responsibilities:

Develop designs, modify documentation, and support production with mechanical analysis and troubleshooting Reverse engineer components from physical configurations Contribute to cross-functional teams to develop solutions for production and field-testing problems, including design, prototyping, and environmental testing Design test fixtures, cables, and interconnects with associated documentation Review product designs and analyze development and design requirements

Pay Details: $41.00 to $55.00 per hour
