The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. The Business Insights Delivery team aims to enable the business by building solutions that turn data in to insights with well-designed data assets and effective, compelling dashboards and visualizations. As the AVP, Business Insights Delivery, you will lead the strategic direction of the insights delivery team to ensure technical capabilities fit long-term business partner roadmaps. Leveraging your knowledge of business intelligence tools, 3rd party embedded capabilities and integrated platforms, you will partner with business stakeholders and work closely with D&A peer disciplines to develop strategies for insights delivery. For this role, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the functional implementation of workforce planning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in workforce planning and possess strong expertise in process transformation and alignment between HR and finance. **What Will You Do?** + Understand external business drivers and best practices and implement them into the organization as appropriate. + Act as a functional leader to collaborate across business lines, understand goals, identify strategies to achieve them, and lead the implementation of the workforce planning vendor solution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. + Foster and maintain partnerships with internal and external organizations, including HR and finance teams, to orchestrate the most effective methods of value delivery and ensure alignment and integration of workforce planning processes. + Oversee the communication of service offerings to business partners, including reporting, guided analytics, self-service, embedded, augmented, and data as a service capability. + Guide department recruiting, training, and talent assessment efforts; guide your department to advance their subject matter expertise and to identify future leaders to meet Travelers' business objectives. + Assess value propositions and provide feedback to business partners to inform direction. + Explore and profile data, draw business inferences, complete analysis, generate insights from workforce data, and clearly articulate findings to support decision-making processes for a target audience. + Align solution design to enterprise data management, security, and governance controls. + Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of the workforce planning solution. + Perform other duties as assigned. **What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?** + Demonstrated experience in developing and planning effective strategies, with the ability to lead a team to implement those strategies. + Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and interact with all levels of the organization. + Experience leading teams of direct reports as well as leading cross-functional working groups. + Strong business acumen, with the ability to problem-solve, think critically, and operate strategically across the enterprise. + Ability to drive and set broad divisional data and information delivery strategies. + Experience in both HR and finance organizations. + Experience leading finance analytics initiatives, including budget comparison and workforce information alignment. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proven experience in process transformation and alignment between HR and finance. + Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. + Proficiency in generating insights from workforce data. + Strong change management skills with a track record of successful implementation. **What is a Must Have?** + Bachelor’s degree or seven years equivalent experience with business intelligence tools, techniques, manipulation, or related. **What Is in It for You?** + **Health Insurance** : Employees and their eligible family members – including spouses, domestic partners, and children – are eligible for coverage from the first day of employment. + **Retirement:** Travelers matches your 401(k) contributions dollar-for-dollar up to your first 5% of eligible pay, subject to an annual maximum.
