AVP, Business Risk Senior Analyst (Hybrid)
**Job Description:** The **AVP, Business Risk Senior Analyst** will analyze business data collection processes, data integrity, and develop control solutions to improve data collection and quality. Perform validation and performance monitoring of credit card and retail bank data to ensure adherence to Citi’s quality standards. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate and enhance existing IT systems. Perform data reconciliation of internal and external data sources using SQL and Teradata to ensure data consistency. Coordinate ad hoc data requests from various local, regional, and global risk functions and deliver actionable business insights. Write programs and execute risk reporting and data reconciliation using SAS code, DATA step, SAS SQL, and MACROS. Enhance and automate the validation of branded cards strategies, reporting, and other repetitive processes leveraging Unix and Autosys. Integrate data sources and develop data routines to create standardized datasets from raw data. Develop risk controls by implementing advanced statistical methods and innovative techniques for efficient data validation. Develop comprehensive risk dashboards to monitor critical key metrics and provide insights on portfolio performance, risk control performance and risk exposures. Coordinate with domestic and international teams on time critical projects and evaluate information from multiple sources to maintain complex and dynamic workflows and scoring processes. Develop analytical solutions and reporting to track effectiveness of processes, identify potential process improvements, and present insights to senior level individuals. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required. **Key** **Responsibilities:** + Working with stakeholders and technology partners to design solutions and improve existing IT systems including data collection, data management, and decisioning systems; + Querying large amounts of data using SQL scripting and transforming raw data into actionable management information; + Using SAS, SAS DATA step, SAS SQL, MACROS, and RDBMS tools including Teradata to develop comprehensive risk dashboards showcasing risk control performance and risk exposure; + Developing control enhancements and automation of strategies, reporting, and other repetitive processes using job scheduling tools including Autosys, and Unix platform; + Providing senior management with business insights of process performance using an understanding of the consumer lending operational processes and complex risk measurements including delinquencies and charge offs; and + Providing analytical support using SAS programming and Unix shell scripting to various risk management initiatives by understanding their requirements, addressing urgent queries, and delivering actionable insights promptly. **Qualifications:** + 5-8+ years relevant experience + Required skills include project management, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills. + Strong analytical capability, high-standards and attention to detail. + Good interpersonal skills to oversee cross disciplinary work streams. + Review all information and documentation ensuring compliance with Citi standards. + Conduct root cause analysis by identifying and analyzing areas of comment defects/issues/themes. + Extensive project management and strategic analysis experience. + Interest and experience in the financial services industry, in particular in the areas of Credit Risk Management and Controls. **Skills/Competencies:** + Assists colleagues in identifying stretch opportunities to elevate individual and team performance + Coach and mentor analysts to develop team strengths and improve weaknesses + Proven culture carrier + Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and exert influence with and without direct authority + Strong organizational skills with ability and willingness to work under pressure and manages time and priorities effectively + Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to audiences of varying levels of seniority **Education:** + Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred.
