Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technology Leader to drive the development, implementation, and management of Cambridge’s data assets across all platforms. This role will focus on leveraging data to enable business outcomes through advanced analytics, AI, innovative solutions and act as a business champion for data-driven decision making. The leader will direct the strategy and governance of enterprise data, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements, while managing a team of data engineers to deliver cutting-edge data solutions. This is a new and exciting role that will lead a team of 20+ data engineering experts in building and optimizing Cambridge’s data and analytics platforms while overseeing the management of both structured and unstructured data in on-prem and cloud environments. You will work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to execute on functional data needs, finding opportunities for automation, AI, and machine learning. You will also partner with the enterprise architecture team to ensure alignment with the company’s overall vision, contributing to refactoring and new adoption efforts. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to design a comprehensive data strategy, create real-time data architectures, and support decision-making through actionable insights, all while fostering a culture of data-driven innovation. Essential Duties Strategic Leadership: Direct the strategy, development, and implementation of Cambridge’s data assets across platforms to drive business outcomes through analytics, data governance, and enterprise data policy. Data Quality, Architecture & Solutions: Develop and manage CIR’s data architecture and ensure the deployment of data quality monitoring practices. Conduct data assessments, develop blueprints and roadmaps, build proof of concept, and write technical points of view. Data Management, Analytics & Architecture: Manage CIR’s enterprise data, utilizing AI, analytics, and machine learning to foster innovation and meet the organization’s objectives. Establish a robust data stream architecture to process and analyze high-velocity data from multiple sources in real-time, supporting intelligent and responsive customer experiences. Compliance & Governance Oversight: Align data policies and strategies with regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements across CIR departments, ensuring adherence to data governance policies. Lead the data and analytics governance committee in policy creation and compliance enforcement. Lead compliance efforts related to data, ensuring audit controls, data security, and reliable financial reporting. Data Strategy Development and Innovation: Create and oversee the CIR data strategy, ensuring data is utilized as a product, supporting APIs, and driving business outcomes while identifying and implementing innovative data solutions and analytics offerings by leveraging emerging technologies and analytical tools. Business Intelligence Applications: Own the design, execution, and deployment of business intelligence data applications, driving adoption and innovation across the enterprise. Education & Experience The ideal candidate would possess an intermediate-advanced level of experience, typically 10+ years, with data management, AI, machine learning and Business Intelligence. Preferred Skills Preferred skills include proficiency in Microsoft SQL and Postgres SQL, knowledge of advanced analytic tools such as R, Python, and machine learning, along with expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Azure, Salesforce FSC, Salesforce Data Cloud, Mulesoft, Microsoft API platform, and data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI. Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidate’s qualifications, the Company’s operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
