Reporting into the Vice President, of Field Human Resources for our HomeGoods │ Homesense Division the Assistant Vice President, HR Business Partner for our Stores organization will provide thought leadership, strategic counsel, advisory and consultative services to Executive Field Leadership.

 

Responsibilities:

Focused on identifying and implementing strategic talent solutions in support of an evolving field organization; ensuring the overall organization and culture are designed around strategic talent growth with a heavy focus on talent development, succession planning, and a culture of inclusionThe AVP HRBP will collaborate with and leverage HR’s Centers of Expertise (COE’s) and the HR Operations Support Center for business solutions, guiding the acquisition, staffing, development, and retention of TJX AssociatesModel and build leadership capability at the team and individual level, inclusive of providing high level coaching and counsel to those leadersYou will have a heavy focus on initiatives surrounding attracting, retaining and developing talent by creating an environment that provides direction, continuous learning and development, and commitment to a common vision and shared values

 

Requirements:

Track record of solving complex organizational talent related challengesExperience with change management and leading organizational changeDemonstrated agility in learning and adapting strategies to market realitiesFacilitates effective workforce planning to identify the capacity and capability of the organization to deliver its short and long-term objectivesAccountable for assessing and developing talent across the department including building a diversified talent pool to fill key current and future positions and ensuring development plans that support Associate growth and developmentMentors the team on relationship management and business sense and influences and generates innovative business ideasAct as a collaborative partner with leader and positively influence managementStrong demonstrated leadership presenceAbility to use HR reporting and analytics to generate insights and present findings back to the businessDemonstrated understanding of project management principles with experience in leading and/ or partnering on large-scale organization change effortsBachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experienceBasic knowledge and use of Microsoft; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TeamsRetail experienceProgressive knowledge of Human ResourcesCollaboration & Influencing skillsStrategic prioritization & planning skillsAbility to build and develop highly effective teamsAbility to analyze and interpret financial reportsCoaching, mentoring, providing counsel and guidanceMinimum of 10 to 15 years of related HR business and management experience with experience developing and implementing strategic talent initiatives

This position has a starting salary range of $139,900 - $181,700 per year. 

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives
