**Compensation Overview**
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

**What Is the Opportunity?**

As an AVP, Learning Partner, you will provide strategic direction to business partners, subject matter experts, and learning teams to understand business goals, and to influence and lead learning solutions that support short and long-term business goals across lines of business, programs, and/or functions. You will lead the development and implementation of learning strategies as it relates to programs and business goals including proactively interpreting trends and providing insights and recommendations to the senior leadership team. You will foster strong relationships with business partners and learning teams across the enterprise. This position may manage learning and training professionals.
**What Will You Do?**
+ The below duties are expectations either as an individual contributor or managing people:
+ Establishes and maintains a highly engaged, collaborative environment to attract, retain, and develop talent.
+ Provide broad leadership to learning product leaders and teams to enable complex decisions impacting multiple functions and lines of business.
+ Provide broad organizational leadership in support of operational capabilities, resource and capacity management, and learning discipline excellence.
+ Conduct learning needs analysis to determine need, scope, and required resources and propose learning tools, resources, and methodologies to deliver optimal solutions based on business needs.
+ Explore new technologies providing feedback and insights on capabilities and implement best practices.
+ Gather and synthesize information to implement recommendations, gain stakeholder support, and influence and lead solutions.
+ Manage consistent learning processes, procedures, and standards with the ability to coach and develop team members.
+ Strategically align resources to accomplish key objectives.
+ Oversee curriculum development which may include planning, designing, developing, and outlining solutions to learning objectives. Evaluate, analyze, interpret trends, and provide insights and recommendations on learning solutions.
+ Overall responsibility for vendor management. Create standards for vendors, identify best available vendors, facilitate, and maintain relationships, and negotiate contracts.
+ Provide leadership and strategic direction to ensure project deliverables and manage risks, including ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Review learning team member projects.
+ Lead the implementation of structured methodologies, change management activities, and participate in the identification and implementation of enterprise best practices.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
+ Ten years of experience in respective business operation or other learning and development environment.
+ Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategies and curriculums.
+ Thorough knowledge of learning technologies, support systems, and methodologies with the ability to make recommendations and lead implementation of those technologies.
+ Thorough knowledge of the business/personal insurance industry, product lines and general understanding of enterprise processes, applications, and systems with the ability to identify and implement enterprise best practices.
+ Experience leading and managing complex projects.
+ Advanced leadership skills with the ability to manage change, develop employees, and align resources to accomplish key objectives.
**What is a Must Have?**
+ Eight years’ experience in a learning and development, training, design, or business-related field.
