Join Nalco Water, an Ecolab company as a Assistant Vice President Corporate Account Manager within our Global High Tech Division, delivering comprehensive chemical products and solutions to meet the needs of customers. As an AVP Corporate Account Manager you will have the opportunity to show your initiative, drive and strategic thinking while refining the corporate account sales strategy for the Global High Tech division to achieve aggressive global growth objectives as well as build the organization’s reputation within the industries. You will manage and coach a team of geographically dispersed Corporate Accounts Managers.

What You Will Do: 

·       Develop the strategies needed to win and convert new business by collaborating with internal partners in alignment with broad customer needs and value drivers. 

·       Coach and develop a high caliber team of Corporate Accounts Managers to deliver against high growth expectations; recruiting and training talent when needed. 

·       Drive engagement and motivate the team to deliver the highest level of performance, sales and growth. 

·       Evaluate individual sales efforts against measurable performance requirements and targets, ensuring that the global team successfully meets new sales and portfolio management expectations. 

·       Implement and oversee appropriate sales processes, procedures, and support needed to increase individual and team effectiveness and accelerate sales cycle. 

·       Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of sales strategies in key market segments in partnership the marketing and technical teams. 

·       Demonstrate deep industry knowledge and build network of customers and influences through support industry events and associations. 

 

Position Details: 

·   Location open to anywhere in U.S. near a major airport  

·   Manage a team of 3 Corporate Account Managers 

·   Minimum of 50% travel, averaging one out of five weeks for office time 

 

Minimum Qualifications:  

·       Bachelor’s degree 

·       10+ years of successful technical sales and corporate or national account sales experience including calling on multi-level plant or facilities management and developing executive level relationships utilizing a consultative sales approach 

·       5+ years of leading and developing teams 

·       Demonstrated sales skills including relationship-based selling and prospecting 

·       Position requires a current and valid driver's license 

·       No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity 

 

Physical Requirements: 

·       Drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle) 

·       Ability to perform essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation 

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

·       Master’s degree or MBA 

·       Experience with a large, global, matrixed organization 

·       Demonstrated ability to build collaborative teams across regions, functions and businesses 

·       Financial and analytical skills, including the understanding of a P&L and the financial implications of customers situations and concerns 

·       A desire to succeed in a competitive sales environment
