As an AVP Electronic Trading - Equities Quant Research, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing quantitative models that drive our equity trading execution algorithms. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of researchers and traders to analyze market data, identify trends, and optimize execution decisions.
To be successful as an AVP Electronic Trading - Equities Quant Research, you should have the following experience:
Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline such as Financial Engineering, Math's, Finance, Econometrics, Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Physics, Chemistry or Operations Research
Practical knowledge of modern statistical learning techniques
Strong knowledge of Python and related data science ecosystem
Ability to effectively communicate research ideas and results to others through well written reports as well as appropriate use of data visualization
Some highly valued skills include:
High attention to detail in creating high quality scientific research on algorithmic execution
Prior experience with equity trading algorithms
Working knowledge of Q
Knowledge of US market microstructure.
Experience with handling and analyzing large tick amounts of tick data

This role is located in New York.
Minimum Salary: $125,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
