Principal responsibilities

Deliver efficient and high-quality executive and administrative assistance to Managing Director, Global Banking, GSC.Work independently across a wide range of duties in accordance with MD’s direction and compliance with the Bank’s standard practices. expense management, research, as well as coordinating and working with other Assistants across the GroupExcellent verbal and written communication are a must to liaise with key senior stakeholders and all colleagues professionally, preparing correspondences, maintaining records and reports, and facilitating internal communications such as information distribution and preparing presentations. Serves as the point of contact between MD and internal and external stakeholders.Excellent organization skills with ability to anticipate the needs of the MD’s, think critically and proactively, prioritize items that need attention and offer solutions to problems. Confidentiality given the frequent exposure to sensitive company information.Ensure that the relevant meeting materials and agendas along with appropriate briefing notes are collated and available ahead of all executive meetings.Manage travel arrangements (both domestic international) - effective management of itinerary times and costs in line with HSBC policies. This will include coordinating transportation, accommodation, and appropriate liaison with any relevant external parties including clients when needed.Need to be extremely well organized and structured yet flexible in working approach due to shifting priorities and events. Coordinate and provide IT / system support.Perform ad hoc assignments as required, productively managing a substantial workload without compromising quality. Process requests for Physical Access to the restricted area on a timely basis.
