**Overview**
We’re looking for a **Associate VP Human Resources Business Partners** to join our team. You will develop the HR strategy and drive the execution of solutions to ensure business success across the assigned business unit. This role will design and execute workforce plans and organization development strategies in support of our business strategy and operational objectives. The AVP, HR Business Partners is a trusted advisor and partner to senior leaders and lead a talented and dedicated team of HR Business Partner professionals.
**This is a work from home position. However, we do prefer the applicant to reside in these states: Delaware, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee or Virginia.**
**Essential Functions of Position**
+ Build and leverage cross- functional relationships to bring together ideas, data, and insights to drive continuous improvement in functions.
+ Provide proactive HR leadership and consultation to business groups supporting leaders and employees of the organization.
+ Manage key initiatives and projects in areas of organization design, employee relations, culture, and leadership development.
+ Directs the planning, development, implementation, and administration of all human resource management programs including employee relations, employee retention, employee engagement and satisfaction, policy advisement, termination guidelines and leadership training.
+ Support the business with organizational change and development as necessary, influencing leaders to address complex organizational design issues when required for business success.
+ Consult and support region team as human resource subject matter expert.
+ Translates the division/region strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans.
+ Participate in meetings sharing HR analysis and insight from human capital reporting around employee retention, HR regulatory compliance and HR initiatives.
+ Establish and ensure consistent HR practices across the region to include employee engagement, orientation and onboarding, employee performance management and follow up on HR goals.
+ Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization’s compliance
+ Deliver broad based and complex HR messages or concepts to leaders, present HR strategies and initiatives in a way that provides clarity around integration and business relevance.
+ Communicates changes in the organization’s personnel policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed in region.
+ Manages special projects as requested.
+ Travel: approximately 10%
**About You**
**Specialized Knowledge/Skills:**
+ Strong HR acumen with expert knowledge of people management and end-to-end HR functions including employee relations, staffing, total rewards, and learning and development
+ Some knowledge Federal and State employment laws as well as Healthcare industry regulations
+ Advanced HR knowledge in FMLA, ADA, employee relations, project management, process development, performance management, leadership coaching, succession planning and workforce planning.
+ Excellent decision making and analytical problem-solving skills
+ Able to work under stress and respond quickly in emergency situations
+ Ability to work collaboratively as a leader and as a member of a team
+ Strong leadership skills
+ Ability to work with confidential information
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Exercises professional judgment and demonstrates good problem-resolution skills
+ Effectively processes and integrates time-sensitive information from multiple sources
+ Displays detail- and deadline-oriented work ethic with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

**Education/Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
+ 5-8 years broad Human Resources experience; some experience in a supervisory/management role
**License/Certification:**
+ Valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance coverage
+ PHR/SPHR certification preferred
**Training/Equipment:**
+ Advanced Microsoft Office skills
