Job Description:
The Leader of Children's Health Service Lines is responsible for the strategic leadership, program development, financial stewardship and operational outcomes of all pediatric service lines in Children’s Health. This includes the following Heart, Brain, Spine, GI/Gen Surg, Urology, Gyn, Diabetes, Endocrinology, Orthopedics, Solid Organ Transplant, Liver, Kidney, Behavioral Health, Cleft, Craniofacial, Plastics, ENT, pulmonology, respiratory, Genomic Medicine, ABA therapy and other hospital specialties.Essential Functions
Strategy Deployment: Informs and executes strategic plans developed by the Hospital Administration, Senior Leadership Team and Clinical Programs as approved by the Executive Leadership Team.
Clinical Excellence and Compliance – Supports all activities for compliance with federal, state, and other regulatory bodies including The Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, DOPL and other department specific accrediting and certifying bodies. Responsible for ensuring contract compliance with applicable policies, procedures and laws.
Patient, Physician and Caregiver Experience – Lends support in creating an environment of high engagement and ensures that patient, caregiver an physician experience is extraordinary.
Operational Efficiency – Partners with other leaders for strategic planning, best practice initiatives, benchmarking and integrated delivery system.
Financial Acumen – Achieves capital and operational budget targets and ensures effective management of expenses including FTE resources.
Community Stewardship – Responsible for NOI (Net Operating Income), assists in the development/management of operational and capital budget, and community public relations.

Master’s Degree obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified
Progressive experience in a leadership position within the healthcare industry in a matrixed healthcare system.
Experience in growing markets and specialties, driving optimal performance, and delivering best in class results.

Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, visitors, staff that require to employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting information.
This is an exempt, full-time position with a compensation range of $228,000 - $259,000, annually, and as determined by prior years of relevant experience. With this position, you are eligible to participate in the Annual Pay for Performance (AP4P) Plan. This plan enables Intermountain Health to provide leaders with an additional performance compensation opportunity. The AP4P award opportunities are calculated as a percentage of your base salary. Awards are paid out based on attainment of selected Board-approved goals.
