Barclays Services Corp. seeks AVP Trade Floor Support (TFS) in New York, New York (multiple positions available):
1. Provide seamless end-to-end support service for front office users to help drive the effectiveness and commercial strength of the Trading franchise.
2. Monitor communication, escalation and management of major crisis and technology incidents impacting front office.
3. Investigate trader related issues to provide swift solutions or ad hoc tactical fixes, whilst also engaging with application owners to provide effective problem management and rapid
strategic resolutions.
4. Provide advisory services to the trading desk and support teams for functional use cases and configuration of trading systems while engaging with Front Office management teams to
ensure proactive management of SLA’s capacity and performance.
5. Engage in projects or initiatives that will help drive improvements to the business.
6. Log and track incidents and issues following the ITIL standards and track outstanding issues and work with the appropriate parties to achieve resolution and prevent reoccurrence.
7. Engage with application owners and development team to review planned changes that may impact application functionality or availability to from office users.
Where will you be working?You will be working at our New York, New York location at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the façade of the building. Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $155,542 per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $178,000 per year
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role
To provide administrative, analytical, and operational support to traders, enabling them to focus on their core responsibilities such as the analysis of markets, execution of trades, and management of risk.
Accountabilities
Receive, validate, and process orders from traders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to trading guidelines, and monitoring of order status to communicate updates to traders and counterparties.Diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of trading platform issues, connectivity problems, and application errors.
