Pacific South Regional Manager for Cyber / Tech E&O  

Chubb Cyber/Tech E&O is currently looking for an applicant to fill the position of Regional Manager in our Pacific South Region. The Cyber/Tech E&O team is responsible for Underwriting Commercial and Major accounts within the geography. Within this role the Manager will be expected to develop and maintain a broad network of brokerage relationships, underwrite and service existing renewals and new business, mentor and lead underwriters in Underwriting best practices and expand distribution and new business. Cross-marketing with other Chubb products and lines of business will be required as well. 

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:  

Manage an Underwriting Team of 4 + individuals   Manage a book of business for the Pacific South Region (includes L.A., Newport Beach, San Diego and Phoenix territories)  Execute a business plan/strategy to achieve profitable growth and expense management   Mentor and develop Underwriters on the team to solicit new and renewal submissions from brokers   Determine terms, conditions and complex rating plans  Represent the company at client and broker meetings   Document and reviewing Underwriting files   Service accounts throughout the policy cycle and   Underwriting a book of Cyber/Tech products in the San Francisco bay area that include:  Technology Errors & Omissions   Cyber and Privacy Liability  

Qualifications: 

Must possess an in-depth knowledge of Tech E&O and Cyber/Privacy Liability products and concepts.  Minimum of 7+ years underwriting experience within Cyber/Tech is required.  Management or team lead experience is a must.  Experience developing and maintaining a broad network of brokerage relationships, demonstrated leadership abilities, negotiation skills and strong oral and written communication skills are essential.  

The pay range for the role is $159,000 to $270,200. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
