Goldman Sachs Private Bank provides competitive borrowing and cash management solutions from Goldman Sachs Bank USA that are strategically integrated with our client’s wealth management goals.  Our experienced team partners with PWAs to advise clients on new loans, refinancing and restructuring of existing loans along with overall liability management.  Our lenders and mortgage specialists provide a wide range of creative borrowing solutions against asset classes ranging from marketable securities and alternative investments, residential and commercial real estate to more tailored solutions against private assets such as aviation, fine art or vineyards.  All team members are employees of Goldman Sachs Bank, USA. 

TEAM & ROLE OVERVIEW 

Goldman Sachs Private Bank provides competitive borrowing and cash management solutions from Goldman Sachs Bank USA that are strategically integrated with our client’s wealth management goals.  Our experienced team partners with PWAs to advise clients on new loans, refinancing and restructuring of existing loans along with overall liability management.  Our lenders and mortgage specialists provide a wide range of creative borrowing solutions. 

The team is seeking an analyst to work as a member of the business development and client strategy team. This team is responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy of the Private Bank, driving client engagement initiatives and managing non-discretionary processes for the organization.  

ABOUT BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & STRATEGY TEAM 

Principal Responsibilities – Business Development 

Client Engagement -- work with Global Head of Strategy, lenders and marketing team to execute on external engagement initiatives including client events and marketing materials Sales management – use data and analytics to optimize production and drive loan balance growth Leadership support – support Global Head of Private Banking, Lending & Deposits as needed on internal presentations, project execution and internal / engagement strategy People strategy – assist with people initiatives including townhalls, newsletters, etc.  Develop product knowledge – gain understanding across suite of lending and cash management offerings This role will require high volume of interaction with other teams and senior stakeholders across the firm. Excellent communication skills, sound judgment and collaborative approach are required to excel 

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with desire to work in a fast paced, high pressure, results driven environment. Ability to work on multiple tasks with a high attention to detail and flexible with hours. Strong analytical and presentation skills (i.e., proficiency with excel and powerpoint) Background in wealth management, lending and / or business strategy are preferred but not required
