As a Generative AI/ML Specialist within AWM Risk Management, you will be an essential member of an agile team focused on developing and implementing cutting-edge generative AI and machine learning solutions. Your role will involve providing strategic leadership in the design and execution of innovative generative AI/ML models and algorithms that drive business transformation and enhance decision-making processes. You will architect solutions that are adaptable and scalable, ensuring they remain robust at their core while being flexible enough to evolve with changing business needs. As a core technical and strategic contributor, you will collaborate across various business functions to integrate AI/ML capabilities that align with the firm's objectives. Additionally, you will work closely with leadership to provide thought leadership, develop strategic roadmaps, and evaluate new AI/ML technologies, requiring a blend of technical expertise and strategic vision.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement advanced AI/ML solutions to address various business needs, ensuring scalability and performance. Build upon state-of-the-art Gen-AI models, to support various use cases such as Document Q&A, Information Retrieval/Summarization, Search, etc. Work closely with leadership to set the technical vision and execute strategic roadmaps, transforming business requirements into actionable AI/ML specifications. Lead AI/ML projects through the ML development lifecycle. Employ agile methodology, defining key milestones and ensuring timely delivery. Stay at the forefront of data science and machine learning advancements, collaborating with the internal AI/ML community to introduce innovative solutions to the AWM Risk organization. Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, and design training programs to enhance AI/ML awareness and adoption within the team. Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines and workflows, ensuring data quality and integrity through rigorous cleaning, preprocessing, and validation. Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and insights, performing statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support data-driven decision-making. Present findings through clear and impactful visualizations and reports, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
Bachelors or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Machine Learning. with 7+ years of experience Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with SQL and relational databases. Deep knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical analysis and modeling techniques. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and lead teams composed of both technical and non-technical members.Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
Experience with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering techniques, and generative AI. Solid background in natural language processing (NLP), deep learning methods, and experience in implementing ML solutions for insights, pattern detection, and forecasting. Experience with Graph Databases, Large Graph Models (LGM) and GraphRAG applications.
