**Weld Quality Control / Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)** **–** **Queens Creek, Arizona - $80,000-$110,000 base salary** **–** **Permanent Position** **–** **Excellent Benefits** **Must have:** + **AWS certified** + Experience in HVAC, construction, or heavy manufacturing industries + 3 years experience + This position does not offer per diem **Job Summary:** The Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is responsible for ensuring that welded components and structures meet the quality and safety standards outlined in applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications. The role involves inspecting welds at various stages of production, verifying compliance with welding procedures, testing welds of new hires, and maintaining thorough documentation. The CWI is also responsible for preparing detailed reports for city inspectors to ensure compliance with local regulations and project requirements. Additionally, the CWI will oversee welding processes related to HVAC systems and heat pipe installations to ensure system integrity and optimal performance.
