AWS Cloud-Solutions Architect *Fully Remote*

Harmonia Holdings has an exciting opportunity for an AWS Cloud-Solutions Architect who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the development of the enterprise cloud computing system, including cloud application designs, cloud approval plans, and cloud storage and management systems.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed; meet the education and work experience required; and must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Other duties, in addition to the below, may be assigned as necessary to meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, or engineering production-scale applications in regulated, secure environments, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience developing and delivering Cloud IaC strategies and using industry leading platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure.

Essential Job Functions:

Implement best practices for cloud management and monitoring for security, diagnostics, and cost management. Develop and automate DevSecOps Jenkins/CloudBees pipelines for serverless AWS infrastructure microservices. Work in AWS GovCloud and adhere to government security requirements and specifications for cloud architectures. Implement and oversee cloud computing strategy and delivery of cloud solutions across multiple projects while adhering to overall agency strategies. Apply knowledge of IT infrastructure tools, processes, and practices, including Cloud resource provisions, deployment, microservices, and DevSecOps. Work independently within a complex environment to evaluate issues and address any questions from internal and external stakeholders regarding cloud implementation. Apply knowledge of security best practices to development build processes and dependency management. Consult with project development teams and key stakeholders to understand project needs and design cloud infrastructures and pipelines to support those requirements. Create documentation that clearly communicates architectural decisions, impacts, and usage best practices.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

US Citizenship and Public Trust Clearance is required BA/BS or equivalent experience and 7+ years of prior relevant experience. Cloud Professional Certification, such as the AWS Solutions Architect

 Experience, Skills and Abilities:

The successful candidate will have multiple years of related hands-on experience of supporting AWS and/or other cloud implementations and familiarity with tools like DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, etc. for monitoring and optimization of cloud infrastructure. Knowledge, skills, and abilities to automate the creation of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) industry standard tools such as Serverless Framework, Terraform, CloudFormation, and Git. Experienced in cloud deployment, operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in communicating technical information to non-technical team members and less experienced engineers. Professional Cloud Certifications such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud are desired.
