AWS Industries Enablement Leader, WWFE - AWS Industry Enablement
Description Amazon Web Services is seeking an Industry Enablement Leader to empower AWS Industries account teams to engage and sell to customers by increasing overall go-to-market effectiveness and accelerating growth through ongoing industry, new hire sales readiness, and sales productivity programs. This high visibility role encompasses both developing enabling assets, guidance, programs and processes for account teams, while also owning execution of each initiative individually and/or in concert with cross-functional team members. Key job responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for delivering an enablement strategy and programs to accelerate growth by strengthening selling capabilities, optimize and accelerate new hire sales readiness/effectiveness, accelerate growth through AWS Partners and ProServe, advocate for the Field with cross functional teams and working to rally the organizations around the voice of the field. The role is aligned to support an industry field organization, where you will have an opportunity to combine a passion for problem solving, creating scalable mechanisms, facilitating sales productivity programs (live and virtually), and enthusiasm for technology to drive learning and establish positive stakeholder relationships with new and tenured field employees. This role also leverages cross functional resources and internal teams, including business operations, sales leadership/management, project/program managers, and marketing, in order to gain leverage, drive programs and business impact. About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent - 5+ years combination of direct sales, sales operations, enablement, program management, or consulting experience with increasing influence and responsibility. - 4+ years of program/project management experience, including leading complex initiatives with multiple inputs and multiple stakeholders in a matrix operational environment - Prior experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines Preferred Qualifications - Experience presenting to senior leadership - Strategic thinker able to distill broad visions and concepts into actionable structured plans that deliver benefits, and institute metrics to evaluate - Able to understand global business needs to position solutions with field stakeholders across multiple functional domains (e.g., sales, technical, operations, marketing). - Entrepreneurial skills with experience owning, delivering, and implementing new projects and concepts within organizations, working closely with senior level cross-functional stakeholders. - Experience using sales or customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce.com and content/knowledge management systems - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Products (Excel, Outlook and SharePoint) - Ability to travel as needed Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
