The impact you will have: 

The Azure Cloud Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting cloud migration and infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and smooth project execution. Working closely with cloud architects, engineers, and technicians, you will oversee the configuration, deployment, and support of Azure-based cloud environments. As the Azure Cloud Coordinator, you will also act as the key point of contact for project status updates and issue resolution, ensuring all deliverables are met according to schedule.

 

What you’ll do:

You’ll work with our customers under the guidance of Sr. Engineers and Architects executing cloud implementation and migration projects by providing hands-on technical expertise in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and services.

 

Coordination: Collaborate with Cloud Engineers and Technicians to facilitate the transfer and migration of cloud environments, focusing on Azure Cloud solution Provider (CSP) solutions. Serve as a central point of contact for CSP pre-sales and post-sales migrations, ensuring all milestones are met, and any issues are resolved and/or escalated. Manage timelines, deliverables, and resources to align with customer expectations. Assist in creating and executing plans and Statements of Work (SOW). Technical Support & Implementation: Support the migration of resources into Softchoice’s CSP program. Offer troubleshooting and enablement assistance related to CSP questions and issues during transfer. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including deployment guides and configuration settings. Collaboration & Customer Engagement: Work closely with internal teams (engineering, sales, billing, licensing, resource management) to ensure alignment with pre-sales, project goals, and customer needs. Act as the face for pre-sales, transfer, and migrations transactions for the customer, providing updates, handling challenges, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Facilitate customer meetings, including initiation calls and post-transfer debriefs. Gather customer feedback to drive continuous improvement in delivery and approach. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills. Suggest improvements to existing processes and tools to enhance efficiency.

 

You will work with Softchoice’s customers across North America in these pursuits. These services will include projects that target Azure CSP destinations.

 

What you’ll bring to the table: 

A desire to build your career in cloud with a proven track record of fast learning and agility in gaining technology experience at a global leader in Cloud at Softchoice Basic understanding of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP), cloud infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, and security. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Administrator) preferred or a commitment to obtaining certification within the first year. Experience in a professional services or consulting environment is a plus.
