Armanino is a proud Microsoft Inner Circle Partner and we are seeking an experienced Azure Data Analytics Engineer to join our team and help deliver powerful technology solutions to our clients through implementation, integration, and optimization of data analytics solutions. As an Azure Data Analytics Engineer, you will work within our Azure practice to design, develop, and maintain data analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and other Microsoft Azure services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data pipelines, create analytical models, and deliver insights that drive business value for our clients.
Job Responsibilities
Technical Implementation and Development:
Design and implement data analytics solutions using Azure services such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Lake Storage
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to process data from various sources into analytical data models
Create and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data transformation and analysis
Data Analytics and Reporting:
Build and maintain data models using Azure Analysis Services and Power BI
Build and maintain semantic models using Fabric’s Direct Lake mode and traditional import move
Create real-time analytics solutions using Fabric’s Real Time Analytics capabilities
Implement data visualization solutions using Power BI and other Azure-compatible visualization tools
Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, models, and analytics solutions
Solution Architecture and Optimization:
Collaborate with senior team members to design scalable data analytics architectures
Implement best practices for data storage, processing, and analysis in Azure environments
Monitor and optimize performance of data analytics solutions, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Project Execution:
Work with our clients’ project teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Implement and Deploy Azure data solutions
Participate in technical design discussions and contribute ideas for solution improvement
Troubleshoot and resolve data analytics issues in development and production environments
Technical Growth:
Stay current with Azure data services and analytics capabilities through continuous learning
Share knowledge with team members and contribute to internal technical documentation
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure quality and maintain standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, data, related major or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analytics or business intelligence
Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience working with and focusing on Azure services (Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Microsoft Fabric)
DP-203 and/or DP-600 Microsoft Certifications
Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or R for data analysis
Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
Knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices including Semantic Models and DAX
Experience developing and supporting on-premises SQL Data Warehouses, SSIS, and SSAS
Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data warehouse concepts
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

The compensation range for this position is as follows: $107,100 - $144,900 (Colorado and Illinois), $117,800 - $159,400 (Washington, New York, and Southern California), $123,200 - $166,600 (Northern California). Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
