We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and analytical solutions utilizing Azure services. A primary focus will be on Azure Databricks and Power BI (DAX). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data solutions that support strategic decision-making and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Databricks. Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to understand business needs and deliver data-driven insights. Develop and optimize data models and visualizations in Power BI (DAX) to provide actionable insights for stakeholders. Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance in Azure environments. Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure the reliability and integrity of data pipelines. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Azure Databricks and Power BI (DAX), including: Strong data modeling skills. Expertise in tabular model design. Proficient in writing complex DAX formulas. Hands-on experience with DAX optimization. Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (DWBI) using SQL. Experience with ETL processes and data visualization. Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and processing technologies. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.
