Job description
Infosys is seeking an Azure Databricks Cloud Data Architect. In this role, you will provide inputs for planning activities to meet non-functional requirements in project - performance engineering track. Participate in customer discussions during requirement analysis with a knowledge of requirements elicitation and analysis tools and techniques like story boarding, use case analysis, agile user stories, to understand system requirements and non-functional requirements. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions. Required Qualifications:Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, Tx or be willing to relocate to this location. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.US citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.At least 7 years of Information Technology experienceHands on experience in architecting Cloud data solutions using Azure Synapse, Databricks, Python, PySpark, SQLSignificant experience with Cloud Data lake technologies and complex data architecture and models. Experience building and managing cloud data platforms. Strong experience in building data ingestion, data catalog and data analytics framework.End to end Cloud Data Lake architecture design & implementation including data ingestion, data modeling and data distribution.Build data integrations between on-prem/cloud-based systems.Good experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data martsExperience and detailed knowledge with ETL, Data Quality, metadata management, Data Engineering, streaming data loadsExperience designing and implementing complex solutions for distributed systemsExperience in leading and mentoring teams in onshore-offshore model.Preferred Qualifications:Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, data integration, data quality and data architectureGood to have experience in SnowflakeExperience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured DataStrong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scriptingGood understanding of Agile software development frameworksStrong communication and Analytical skillsAbility to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams and be able to manage the stake holdersExperience and desire to work in a global delivery environmentThe job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
