Description We are offering a long term contract opportunity for an Azure DevOps Engineer in the Lehigh Valley, PA area. This role is pivotal in enhancing the quality and security of our code, increasing the delivery speed, and refining the development team's processes. The Azure DevOps Engineer will work closely with various teams to identify and rectify bottlenecks, improve development and delivery processes, and enhance the developers' overall experience. The selected candidate will also manage infrastructure-as-code deployment tooling, support services on multiple cloud providers, and ensure smooth operation through metrics, logging, and alerting. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with the DevOps team to provide a consistent and holistic solution to the organization • Actively engage in deploying application artifacts to the correct target environments using supported technologies and infrastructure • Work closely with Tech Leads and developers from various teams to evaluate existing issues and devise process improvement solutions • Design and build an infrastructure that balances high levels of scalability, reliability, and performance with security, maintainability, and operational excellence • Conduct surveys among developers and technical members of the organization to understand their primary pain points in the coding and development process • Ensure traceability, observability, and retrievability of sources and deliverables • Continuously learn and understand technologies outside of your comfort zone to tackle abrupt challenges and apply new skills in unfamiliar areas of technology.
