Job description

Infosys is seeking a Devops Developer This position’s primary responsibility will be to translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical to the project.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting Chicago, IL Or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
2 + years of hands on experience in Azure DevOps, Github, GitHub Actions and YAML.
Azure DevOps, Terraform, Jenkins, CICD pipelines, Github, GitHub Actions
At least 2 years of experience in Any scripting languages : Shell scripting, Power Shell, BASH, Python.
Focus on design and development of CICD pipelines which are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable and optimized.
Experience in integrating CICD pipelines with various Scanning tools like SonarQube, CAST HL, Checkmarx, InsightAppSec
Good Experience in one or more scripting languages (shell scripting, python, Perl or powershell )
Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of different Technology Stacks like Java, dotnet and Cloud (PCF) Applications.
Some experience in migrating from PCF to Azure will be good to have
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Good knowledge of Window & Linux OS

Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in Kubernetes,
At least 2 years of experience in Azure Cloud
Nice to Have: At least 2 years of experience in Ansible, Ansible Tower.
Azure Certification: Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a strong plus.
Experience with Large-Scale Migrations: Proven experience managing large-scale,
complex cloud migrations, preferably from on-premises to Azure.
Domain Knowledge: Experience in industries such as finance, retail, or healthcare,
where security, compliance, and performance are critical.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
