As an Azure Solution Architect - Data & AI, you will play a crucial role in qualifying and driving Azure Data & AI opportunities through the sales cycle, gathering requirements, and designing cutting-edge data and analytics solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in building proposals, cost estimates, and Statements of Work (SOW) for our clients. Collaboration with our delivery and project management teams is a key aspect of this role, ensuring seamless execution of projects from pre-sales to delivery. Additionally, you will provide thought leadership throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to the success and innovation of our solutions. 

Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with internal sellers and other Solution Architects to identify customer needs, uncover opportunities, and strategically build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline through collaboration and effective communication

Qualify Azure Data & AI opportunities and drive solutioning through the entire sales cycle 

Gather detailed requirements from clients and design innovative data and analytics solutions leveraging Azure technologies 

Develop comprehensive multi-option solutions to be included in proposals, cost estimates, and Statements of Work 

Engage with C-level executives to present solutions and address technical inquiries 

Collaborate closely with sellers to ensure a successful sales process 

Collaborate with delivery and project management teams to ensure successful solution hand-off for implementation and project execution 

Stay current with the latest Azure Data & AI technologies and best practices 

Collaborate with sales and delivery to develop best practices and methodologies within the organization 

Contribute to thought leadership within and outside the organization 

Requirements

BS/BA in IT, Data Science, related major or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in IT or technical roles 

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in designing and architecting innovative Azure Data & AI solutions for clients leveraging Azure technologies in areas such as:

Expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including Azure Data Factory Pipelines and Data Flow Gen 2 Proficiency in SQL Server / Azure SQL DBs Proficiency in Power BI, including report development, data modeling, and administration Strong programming skills in T-SQL, Python, and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) Proficiency in Azure AI Studio or Open AI Studio Experience with SSIS for on-premises solutions Experience with Databricks Solid understanding of CI/CD Data Pipelines in Azure DevOps Familiarity of Data Lake and One Lake Architecture  Familiarity with Azure Synapse AnalyticsKnowledge of CRM and ERP systems 

5 years’ experience managing and leading teams.

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Presales and conducting client demos.  

Experience in Data Science, including LLM, Indexing, and Natural Language Processing with the ability to drive solutions through complex sales cycles

Microsoft Certifications: Microsoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600) plus one or more of the following: Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900), and Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)

Travel for Armanino business and clients, as needed

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $100,000 - $210,000. For Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $100,000 - $199,000. For Washington residents, the compensation range for this position: $1000,00 - $199,000. For New York residents, the compensation range for this position: $100,000 - $199,000. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $100,000 - $181,000. For Illinois residents, the compensation range for this position: $100,000 - $181,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
