B&P Customer Specialist 2
**What You'll Do** As a **B&P Customer Specialist 2** in our Specialty Benefits Division Admin eFile department, you’ll be the primary contact responding to our clients, applying skills and procedures to provide a high level of value and service while creating effective working relationships with all customers. You’ll be consistently learning while having a rich variety in the work you do, which includes: + Using online procedural manuals and system applications to effectively interpret and resolve customer inquiries and provide clear and accurate information and education to promote understanding of product and services. + Educating account executives and outside brokers regarding e-file transmissions for eligibility processes and procedures. + Using problem-solving skills and in-depth product knowledge to identify process improvement opportunities which promote cost effective service delivery. + Providing service which meet established compliance and state regulatory requirements. + Performing other job-related duties or special projects as required. Our mission, integrity, and customer focus have made us a trusted leader for more than 140 years! **Who You Are** + 4+ years of customer service experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education. + Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. + Ability to develop a broad understanding of insurance operations, products and concepts across all lines. + Strong computer skills including Excel proficiency and keyboarding. + Build positive relationships with diverse internal and external distribution channels, make quick judgements, and respond to difficult situations that requires tact and discretion. + Good decision-making when working on complex casework and making exceptions during new business processing. + Ability to prioritize work while maintaining service standards in the face of peak times, heavy workloads and with frequent interruptions. + Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and multi-tasking skills in a fast paced, changing environment with high accuracy and within established turnaround times. + Effective team member and a positive influence within the organization. + Compass experience is a plus! **Salary Range Information** Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. **Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)** $19.47 - $35.19 / hour **Time Off Program** Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period.
