SUMMARYThis position is responsible for daily plant accounting functions. Work activities vary and require judgment to complete tasks, set priorities, and evaluate results. The role requires working independently as well as with a diverse team. The selected candidate must be able to work extended hours as required by management.Key responsibilities include:Verifying and checking documents for accuracy.Interacting with supervisors and plant management.Cross-training in all office areas to provide vacation and sick coverage.Performing additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTSEducation: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Basic knowledge of mathematics and grammar required.Experience: 1+ years of general office experience preferred.Computer Skills: Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office and Excel experience preferred.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of Team Members, from hourly employees to upper management, as well as government officials.Special Skills: Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in teams.

All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety, including personal and food safety.
