Adecco is currently assisting a premier global manufacturing company for Stand up Forklift Operators. This position is a temp to hire opportunity, with starting pay rates of $18.00. Position Hours –2nd and 3rd shift available Monday – Friday Needed Skillset · Required – Certified forklift experience equal to or greater than 1 year on a reach forklift. · Required – Certified forklift experience equal to or greater than 1 year on a Sit down forklift. Standard Duties include but are not limited to: · Operate reach or picker forklift to heights of up to 36ft to pick orders from the racks. · Work in the warehouse, not temperature controlled, to consolidate and ship freight physically and systematically using Forklift, Paperwork, and computer workstations. · Reads work order, email instructions, or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or container to be moved. · Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and/or forklift. · Wraps and bands pallets by hand · Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit. · Inspects cargo and freight to match description and quantity to paperwork and order. · Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet. · Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials. · Scanning Freight via warehouse management system with RF equipment. · Cleans work area regularly and other work spaces with brooms, wipes, or sanitizer solutions. · Other duties as assigned. **Pay Details:** $18.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
