Quality Assurance Supervisor
Reports to: QA Manager
Location: Deckers Brands Distribution Center in Mooresville, Indiana (near clayton)
The Role
Directly supervises employees in the Quality Assurance Department. Responsibilities include, interviewing; hiring and training employees, including Temps; planning, assigning and scheduling work; appraising performance; rewarding and providing corrective action under the direction of Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:
Given 24 hour turn around, coordinate AQL 2.5 Single Sampling Plan inspection for all incoming shipments or other percentage determined by the Quality Assurance Manager or Director. Supervise random inventory audits and 100% inspections. Supervise repairs when needed.
Manage scheduling for three shifts, if necessary, for Deckers’ QA employees and other seasonal temporary employees as required.
Supervise inspector’s skill levels and between-inspector’s calibration.
Report results to all stakeholders: Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Assurance Director, and various other teams to be established
Maintain accurate data.
Maintain library for all specifications and confirmation samples.
Observe inspectors regularly to verify that inspections are maintained according to quality assurance standards and protocols.
