The Business to Business Account Executive is responsible for driving Custom Spaces revenue for The Container Store’s business-to-business (B2B) channel. This position attains quarterly and annual sales targets and establishes strategic business relationships with regional accounts in an assigned territory in the areas of Multifamily and Hospitality development and property management. This position is charged with deep product knowledge of The Container Store brands, high integrity, strong work ethic and the ability to maximize sales performance/goals. This is a full-time salaried, exempt position.
This is a remote position, based within sales territory of NY, NJ, PA, CT, RI MA or NH.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Understands market potential and maximizes market share within assigned territory/regionDevelops and maintains strategic, long-term, trusting relationships with Regional Account clients to achieve account growth and stabilityGenerates leads and opportunities via market research, event follow up and networking, and pursues any leads assigned by Sales Director originating from stores, web forms, inbound inquiries and other lead channelsPrepares professional sales presentations and proposals and negotiates contracts/purchase agreements with prospective and existing clientsUnderstands the wants and needs of clients, performs competitor analysis, and recommends value-add solutionsMeets or exceeds established quarterly and annual sales goalsMeasures, tracks and analyzes Regional Account metrics, and collects and communicates Regional Account customers’ feedback on service, product delivery and customer experienceServes as contact point for Regional Account clients and B2B Operations team, ensuring a positive customer experienceMaintains daily activities and updates in SalesforceAttends tradeshows, conventions, association events, and company-related functions as requiredProvides added-value to clients through knowledge of key industry trends, new product launches, and amenity offeringsResearches industry and business trends to identify opportunities that will lead to increased sales and profitability, as well as potential risks that could create headwinds for the businessConsistently arrives promptly to work the assigned scheduleResponsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer informationPerforms other requested tasks and duties

Experience and Skills Required
