General Description The B2B Support Associate is responsible for technical support for customers utilizing live B2B portals. This includes both Checkout & Punchout portals. They take ownership of these customers and issues and are responsible for identifying trends that may indicate the presence of a bigger problem affecting more/all portals. They will work with the rest of the eProcurement team to grow and build the B2B portals and online B2B presence, identifying areas where we can enhance the portals and keep up with industry standards. Additionally, they will work closely with the eProcurement Specialists to ensure that a portal’s transition from test to live to support is seamless. The B2B Support Associate is a technically-minded individual, willing to learn and grow, and who is interested in the B2B industry. Detailed Responsibilities & Skills - Must be able to communicate/explain technical information and solutions to non-technical users and customers. - Must be able to seamlessly switch from interaction to interaction and identify problems on the fly. - A strong Unix background is preferred, along with knowledge/ability to learn details of the B2B Web Parameters and cXML. - Should have a working knowledge of ERP’s or Platforms and their technical/nontechnical differences. - The ability to take ownership over an issue and see it through to completion is a must. - They must be detail-oriented and enjoy problem solving. - Finally, they should be able to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
