Description We are offering a contract for a Back End Developer in the Communications industry, based in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and modification of various software components across the software stack. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement software components across various areas of the software stack. • Conduct code reviews and debugging activities to ensure optimal performance. • Diagnose complex software issues and develop practical and efficient technical solutions. • Collaborate with team members to rapidly develop new applications. • Work with Python in cloud-based environments such as Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services. • Handle Asynchronous programming and Audio file and stream processing tasks. • Utilize RPC / gRPC concepts in Python for application development. • Develop applications using Twilio or IVR/Call flow-based technologies. • Integrate REST APIs and web services in environments like GCP / AWS. • Employ standard CI/CD deployment methods for efficient and seamless software delivery. • Troubleshoot problems and provide consultation on architectural design and configuration changes. Requirements • Proficient in Python programming language, with the ability to write clean and efficient code. • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and its range of services, demonstrating a strong understanding of cloud-based solutions. • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including its EC2, S3, and RDS services. • Expertise in developing and managing REST APIs for seamless data exchange and integration. • Knowledge of Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, with the ability to develop and maintain efficient telephony systems. • Experience with Twilio APIs for communication and messaging services. • Understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD) pipelines, with the ability to design, build, and maintain them for streamlined software development. • Familiarity with Audio Processing, demonstrating the ability to work with sound-based data and technologies.
