The Role
Join as the first backend engineer to lead the design and development of scalable backend infrastructure, including work on compliance-sensitive environments like AWS GovCloud or on-prem deployments. Collaborate closely with leadership to build infrastructure meeting high security and performance standards.

Responsibilities

Architect and develop robust backend systems. Scale or migrate existing serverless infrastructure. Work across all product development stages. Help shape the engineering culture and team.

Requirements

U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder. Proficient in C++, Python, or Rust. 5+ years of experience in backend engineering. Skilled in scalable infrastructure, compliance-sensitive deployments, and cloud environments. Familiar with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. Background in startups or high-tech companies preferred.
