Residential Counselor Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Align student education and residential services with IEP and ILP plans.Assist residents with residential programs and daily routines, including ADLs and personal care.Complete required record-keeping, data collection, and documentation.Select and supervise activities suited to each resident’s capabilities.Attend program and behavior meetings, orientation, and training sessions.Perform household chores, with or without student assistance.Ensure residents are dressed appropriately, respecting their rights and dignity.Advocate for and protect clients' rights per current policies and procedures.Maintain a mature and positive attitude with residents, staff, and guardians.Perform other duties as directed.
Hours:
Back-End of the week - Wednesday through Saturday (4-day work week!)
Wednesday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pmSaturdays 7:00am - 10:00pmOther shifts are available! Apply now to discuss options during intro call!
Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old.Must have a valid driver’s license.High school diploma or equivalent, plus one of the following:Associate degree with a minimum of 12 credits in Human Services, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Recreation, or related discipline.Parent of a child over 7 years old.2 years of full-time (3,000 hours) of verifiable experience working directly with children of any ability.A combination of related college credits and experience working with children.Physical requirements may include (but are not limited to) bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, sitting/standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Crotched Mountain School (CMS), a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, hosts innovative special education, recreation, arts, music, and vocational programming for students, aged 5-21, who are on the autism spectrum, and/or have disabilities and other challenges that are better supported in an alternative, least-restrictive environment to their local public school system. Students have the option to live year-round in the appointed residences on the sprawling campus located in Greenfield, New Hampshire.
