Back End Software Development Engineer


Job Description:

Ormco is seeking an experienced Software developer to join a  team focused on development of  complex WEB application for modern orthodontic solutions.

The work includes design and development of cloud system that supports CAD/CAM system for dental appliances manufacturing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and develop of a full stack Web system, focused on back-end services development

Take active part in code review, DevOps, continuous delivery

Proactive work in distributed agile environment, participation in project architecture decisions

Job Requirements:

Hands on experience of development of WEB applications

Good Computer Science skills (SOLID, REST and design of RESTfull API, knowledge of HTTP, Experience with metric/monitoring tools)

Good knowledge of software architecture and design

Good knowledge of AWS and Docker

Java experience 3-5 years

Collections, Multithreading, Stream API

JMM, GC

Spring

Core, Security, Data

Spring bean life cycle

Hands on experience with different data persistence libraries:

Understanding of when and why to use ORM or native SQL;

Understanding of ACID, isolation levels;

Database modelling skills, with several well-known relational databases;

Good knowledge of AWS and Docker;

Proficient in all aspects of software development and popular tools used (Atlassian suite preferred);

Communicates clearly and responsively project wide;

Good English written and verbal communication skills (Upper Intermediate+);

BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
