Job Title: Back Office Medical AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical assisting, including patient follow-ups, data entry, and managing inbound phone calls. You will play a crucial role in patient care and administrative tasks, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

ResponsibilitiesPerform patient follow-ups and update patient records.Enter patient data accurately into the system.Answer inbound phone calls and provide excellent customer service.Order laboratory tests and relay lab results to patients.Schedule follow-up appointments and manage the appointment calendar.Triage patient calls and provide clinical support.Assist with various administrative tasks as needed.Essential SkillsBilingualMA Dipoloma OR MA Certification Experience in medical assisting (1+ year preferred).Medical Assisting diploma, certification, or equivalent experience.High School Diploma.Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Athena.Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with appointment scheduling and patient care.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.Experience with front desk operations and insurance processing.Work Environment

This position is based onsite at a clinic in Orlando, FLorida. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
