Position OverviewThe Scan Clerk is responsible for ensuring file integrity throughout the store. This role performs daily/weekly price audits/changes, as well as interacting with vendors and receiver to ensure authorized merchandise is brought into the store and verifying correct prices in system/on shelves. They will also be responsible for providing attentive and friendly customer service.

Skills

Specialized Knowledge : Regular vision and attention to detail. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions. Basic working knowledge of computers.Special Skills : Ability to learn, differentiate, and retain information regarding product lines/locations . Promote sales through courteous and friendly customer service.Physical abilities: : Occasional amounts of pushing/pulling loads up to 20 lb. Frequent amounts of handling, standing, and reaching. Constant amounts of walking, crouching, and bending.Other: : Operation of the following: cash register, video display unit, POS, printer, computer, and pricing gun.
