Job Summary

The Bagger performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to operations of assigned machinery, department housekeeping, and working in various workstations to deliver the highest quality product to our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform various tasks including filling, sealing and palletizing bags, operating the robot palletizer system, and operating the pallet inverter Operate a fork truck to load customer trucks or move pallets to stretch wrapper/storage. Perform daily inspections and reports any issues with machinery or vehicles, including leaks. If any leaks occur during the shift, contain the leak and report to a supervisor.  Notify maintenance of any significant issues with scale, sealing machines, conveyor systems or robot palletizing system. Complete quality control tasks and paperwork, including check weighing of bags, checking lot codes, checking bags seals and fines testing (for pellets). Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s policies and procedures, including safety. Adhere to safety rules and best practices to keep all people on the premises safe Assisting other employees and providing relief in performing their tasks. Perform cleanup tasks and maintains a clean work environment to promote a safe and clean work environment.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High School Diploma or GED preferred. A safety mindset and commitment to one's own safety and those of their fellow co-workers. Basic computer literacy Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous manufacturing experience preferred Previous experience driving a forklift preferred Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
