Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated warehouse worker for a 1st shift position in Middletown. The role involves processing orders and moving boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials. This is a physically demanding job that requires manual lifting, carrying, and arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting. Candidates must be able to lift and carry boxes ranging from 10-100 lbs regularly, without assistance.

ResponsibilitiesProcess orders and move boxes of various materials.Manually lift, carry, and arrange boxes while performing physical activities such as standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.Lift and carry boxes weighing from 10-100 lbs without assistance.Work without assistance to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes up and down inclines, stairs, and over varying walking surfaces.Read and write English to process orders and handle inventory.Use proprietary computer systems to track orders and locate boxes.Operate handheld scanners.Maintain balance and stability on ladders.Operate and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.Load boxes onto pallets and transfer pallets to trucks manually and using material handling aids.Essential SkillsInventory managementOrder pickingGeneral laborRF scanner operationMaterial handlingLoading and unloadingLabelingPhysical stamina for prolonged periods of walking, standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, and bendingAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to read and write EnglishExperience with hand carts and pallet jacksExperience with loading and shrink wrapping palletsWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a small, non-climate controlled warehouse environment that typically stays around 70 degrees. The position requires steel-toed boots and involves a standard shift from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to hire position based out of Middletown, Pennsylvania.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00
