THE JOB:
As a Baker within our Main Kitchen, you will play a role in preparing a variety of baked goods, following recipes and yield guides, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. This is an opportunity to bring your baking and pastry expertise to a setting that values precision, skill, and creativity while delivering unforgettable baked goods to our guests and staff.

THE STARTING RATE:

$22.40 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Prepare a variety of baked goods following established recipes and yield guides.Assist in decorating cakes, pastries, and other baked items.Maintain solid knowledge of the menu and monitor the quality and consistency of the baked goods.Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.Properly label and date products to ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations.Regularly restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.Assist in set-up and breakdown of workstations and participate in running food as needed.Communicate effectively with management, chefs, and service staff to address and fulfill any guest or employee requests or issues.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

At least 1 year of baking experience or relevant experience, preferably in a high-production kitchen or similar environment.Strong understanding of baking techniques, recipe adherence and standard kitchen equipment and supplies.High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
