As a Cheesecake Bakery Technical Services Intern you will play an integral part in supporting our Technical Services department by assisting with ongoing projects and responsibilities that relate to your future career. You’ll have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of how a Technical Services department functions by interacting with the entire team as well as cross functionally with other departments. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will work with a Technical Services team of 3, located in Calabasas Hills, CA, supporting the Technical Services function for a $3.4 billion public company with over 300 restaurants and more than 47,500 staff members. Here’s more of what you’ll get to do: Participate in bake tests to collect and analyze data. Consolidate product specification information into a centralized database. Analyze data from REDZONE (quality compliance module) for management review. Evaluate product quality by participating in daily product cuttings. What we require: Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution. Completed a minimum 2 years in post-secondary education. Majoring in Food Science or related field.
